I have received reports that lambs are being born these days, jumping around and growing lovely, soft wool. Meanwhile I’m still working on how to make my darning egg hatch out little chocolate eggs.
Happy Easter!

Now also Ripped Off Yarn
Posted in Uncategorized on February 28, 2009 | 2 Comments »
I’m not talking about ripping yarn of the needles this time (which I do quite often. I have a low threshold for ripping out something if I don’t like the knitted fabric. Gives more value for my yarn money too!). Also not the about the very few times I have felt ripped off in a [...]

Holidays were good, relaxing, lots of food, family and good times. I taught a cousin to knit cables and picked up some yarn from my mom’s stash. I also scored a new ballwinder when I mentioned that the old one that was already old when I got it, was broken. She happened to have another [...]

I wanted to photograph an FO I’ve actually been wearing for a few weeks now. Instead I stepped on it and broke one of the buttons.
Yes mom, I should stop throwing my clothes around like that. I’m all grown up now.
Can the holidays begin soon? Please?

Today I’m home with a cold. I have warm coffee and radio and outside the winter has covered the remnants of what is now over in snow. The ocean lies calm and the sky is light and the sun would have shown herself for the last time this year if the hazy clouds would have [...]
Hello darkness my old friend

Much time has passed since I left a life sign in this part of the cyberspace. Not so much have happened around here though, and I can only think of two things worth mentioning.
We have snow. Not anymore. It would have been a good thing cause the days are really short now and weekends are my [...]
